Ollin Vision | France Based Real Estate Website

The client required a complete rebuild of their real estate website, migrating from Wix to WordPress with a strong focus on creating a high-end, luxury-style presentation that aligns with premium property branding. Beyond visual improvement, the goal was to develop an advanced property listing and filtering system that allows users to easily search, explore, and interact with listings based on key criteria such as location and property details. The project also prioritized performance, scalability, and long-term usability to support the client’s growing operations in France and Spain. What initially started as a redesign quickly evolved into a deeper technical engagement, involving system architecture decisions, data integration planning, and continuous optimization to ensure the website could function as a reliable and scalable business tool.

Problems & Challenges

The project started with multiple critical issues affecting core functionality. Property images were not loading properly, key forms had been deleted, and important pages like the estimation page were no longer working. In addition, the property listing system lacked proper filtering capabilities, making it difficult for users to search by city or other criteria, and there was no structured or scalable architecture behind the listings.

There were also integration challenges, as the client’s software initially could not provide the required XML data, creating confusion around whether to use plugins or a custom-built system. Performance was another major concern, with heavy images slowing down the website and caching conflicts breaking parts of the interface, leading to inconsistent speed across devices.

From a user experience and business perspective, the website had weak messaging, an incomplete mobile experience, missing multilingual support, and no clear conversion flow. Overall, the platform was not functioning as a reliable tool for the client’s real estate business.

How we solved it

The process began with a full audit and debugging phase, where broken forms, missing plugins, and caching conflicts were identified and resolved. Special attention was given to diagnosing issues related to property listings and image loading to stabilize the core functionality of the site.

Next, a structured system planning phase was carried out to determine the best approach for handling property data. This included deciding between a custom post type system and third-party real estate plugins, while designing a data-driven filtering structure based on available property attributes.

During development, the website was rebuilt using Bricks Builder, with a custom property structure and dynamic filtering logic implemented to improve usability and scalability. Integration work followed, where coordination with external tools like ImmoWP and XML-based systems ensured the platform could support automated data syncing.

The optimization phase focused on resolving caching issues, improving image handling, and enhancing overall site performance. Finally, continuous support and iteration were provided, including fixing bugs, refining features, and making ongoing improvements based on real user interaction and business needs.

How we helped

The project focused on restoring and stabilizing the website by fixing broken pages, recovering deleted forms, and resolving plugin conflicts that were affecting core functionality. A scalable real estate system was then developed, enabling structured property listings with dynamic filtering based on city, postal code, and other property data, making the platform far more usable for end users. Performance was significantly improved through image optimization and resolving caching conflicts, resulting in faster and more consistent loading across devices. At the same time, the user experience was enhanced with better navigation, a cleaner and more premium design approach, and improved mobile responsiveness to align with the client’s luxury positioning. Alongside development, continuous technical support and maintenance were provided, including troubleshooting issues, handling server-level fixes, and ensuring the website remains stable, updated, and ready for future growth.
