Freshblend. be is a Belgian-based digital marketing agency that provides a range of digital marketing services.

Problems

Freshblend. be is a Belgian-based digital marketing agency that provides a range of digital marketing services. The client approached us with a request to build their website using the Bricks Builder platform, which is known for its developer-centric features and ease of use. Our team, with the help of ACSS, successfully completed the project, delivering a website that includes 14 pages, 4 custom post types, single post designs, and a portfolio single page

Process

Our project began with thorough planning and requirements gathering from Freshblend.be. We established a clear scope, including the 14 pages and 4 custom post types. With a detailed sitemap in hand, we set up a development environment, installing WordPress and configuring the Bricks Builder plugin. We started by designing a global template to ensure consistent headers and footers across the site. Individual page templates were then created for each of the 14 pages, along with custom templates for the 4 post types and single post designs. A specialized template was also made for the portfolio single page.

How we helped

Bricks Builder and ACSS Bug: There were issues with the Bricks Builder and ACSS, which caused lag and difficulties in applying custom classes. The team had to work around this by finding solutions in the Bricks Builder community forum ACSS not Overwriting Default Classes: ACSS was not properly overwriting the default classes, leading to inconsistencies in the website's styling. This was resolved by increasing the specificity of the CSS rules and using more specific selectors or adding more selector components to the rule
